Main Street Cupertino is a new community hub that attracts many Silicon Valley locals boasting “walkable, functional” and “accessible” which describes this new site. Centrally located in Cupertino, near major tech companies and a main shopping mall, Main Street Cupertino consists of retail, apartments, hospitality, and office buildings. South Bay Construction constructed the ten retail building shells and six-level parking garage. Each building’s foundation is supported by beam/spread footing, slaps-on-grade, structural steel columns with moment frames, and metal decking.

Exterior walls were finished with a mix of decorative stone and wood panels and features fabric, glass, metal panel canopies. Glass storefronts, some with bi-folding doors, attract restaurant and retail tenants. Main Street Cupertino now houses many locally favorite shops such as Phils Coffee and Pieology, as well as new and unique ones – Lyfe Kitchen and Eureka!
